The Market is Open!
The weather sure doesn’t seem like it, but summer is winding down in the garden. Some Foothills Market favorites, like tomatoes, are beginning to slow down. We still have tomatoes available, but now is the season for other hot-weather crops, like peppers. If you are looking for a quick supper that won’t heat up the kitchen, pick up some beef and peppers (we have a selection of both sweet and hot varieties) for a stir-fry. One skillet, 30 minutes, and better for you than take-out!
Browse the market between now and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. We’ll have the orders ready for pickup on Thursday.

The Market is Open!
After a couple of weeks off, Foothills Market is back online! The break has given our gardens (and farmers!) a chance to get through the hot days, and it looks like the weather is going to be a little cooler this week.
Browse the market between now and Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., and we’ll have your order ready for pickup on Thursday.

No Market This Week
Our Foothills Market growers have some things to take care of this week and the next, so we are going to take a two-week break from the market. However, if you want some fresh produce, you can contact Sheepy Hollow Farm at 479-746-1687 or Spicer Farm at 479-970-0526 to make arrangements for an off-market pickup. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for listings of what produce is available.
We’ll see you in mid-August for a “grand reopening”!
Market Reminder
Don’t forget to place your order on Foothills Market today. The order window will be open until 5:00 p.m. for pickup tomorrow.

Have you seen the recipes we’ve posted on Facebook this week? They cover everything from salads to a main dish to a dessert, and they all feature peaches and at least one other ingredient available on the market.

The Market is Open! Peach Festival Edition
This week is the traditional Peach Festival in Johnson County, and Foothills Market is getting into the spirit of the festivities!
All week, we’ll be posting recipes on our Facebook page that feature peaches along with items you can get from our market. We’ll post a different recipe each day between now and Wednesday when the market closes. Recipes will range from simple, fresh salads to main dishes combining peaches with beef. Pick up some fresh, local peaches from our neighbors at Peach Pickin’ Paradise, and try something different.
Of course, we have some peach-centric items on the market, like jam and conserve. Also, for this week, we’ll have some special baked goods that feature peaches. Check out the baked goods section of the market. If nothing else, maybe you’d like some home-baked brownies with sliced peaches and ice cream!
Place your order between now and Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., and we’ll have your order ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon.
Let’s celebrate peaches this week!
Market Reminder
Foothills Market has plenty of tomatoes, peppers, and sweet corn available, if you’re still looking for these favorites. Order by 5:00 p.m. today, and we’ll have it ready by tomorrow afternoon.
The Market is Open!
Foothills Market is ready for another week of shopping for your summer favorites, including TOMATOES!
Browse the market between now and 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Click the button to place your order, and we’ll have it ready for pickup on Thursday. Don’t forget to also check back during the week. Things ripen quickly during hot weather, so our growers may be able to add more products that weren’t ready on Sunday. You can place multiple orders before the deadline and we’ll consolidate it all into a single payment.
