Blueberry Season is in Full Swing

With the recent rain and the forecast for warm weather next week, we’ll be picking a lot of blueberries over the next few days. You can be sure to get the berries you want by pre-ordering here on Foothills Market. We have berries available in gallons or quarts. The current varieties are Duke and O’Neal.

We’re adding cabbage and onions to the market this week, and we have a lot of beautiful broccoli crowns available. We’re also digging potatoes this afternoon, so we’ll have plenty of new potatoes this week.

You can place your order between noon Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday for pickup at the farmers’ market on the courthouse square between 9-11 a.m. Saturday.

First Wednesday Market Deliveries This Week!

If you don’t want to have to wait until the weekend to get your fresh veggies, we’ll have a booth at the Clarksville-Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market this Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m. You can order any of the items listed on the Foothills Market page and have them available for pickup downtown at the farmer’s market.

Our big addition to the market this week is blueberries! We have quarts or gallons available for pre-order.

We’re in the transition from the spring vegetables to the summer season, so we still have a limited amount of spring salad mix, as well as the first of the summer peppers.

No Market This Week

We’re taking a break from the market this weekend to do something with our daughter, but we’ll be back next weekend with new items just in time for Memorial Day!

The Market Is Open - May 12

Foothills Market is taking orders for this weekend, starting now!

We have a good variety of greens this week, including three different kinds of kale and a nice salad mix that includes green and red lettuce, spinach, and baby chard. We also have a fresh crop of Scarlet Globe, White Icicle, and Sprinkler radishes to go with your salad.

We are also offering a* produce box* for the first time this season, if you are interested in getting a variety of produce in a convenient package.

You can place your order between now and 5 p.m. on Friday. We’ll pick and pack your vegetables on Friday evening, and you can pick up your order at the Johnson County Farmers’ Market Saturday morning on the courthouse square.

Market Is Open - May 5

We have a few new items to add to the market this week. The kale is finally big enough to pick, as are the mustard greens. We also have Pac Choy, which is a new crop for us but looks really tasty.

If you’d like to order from the market this week, remember to place your order before noon on Friday to give us time to pick and package your vegetables on Friday evening. Then we’ll see you at the farmers’ market Saturday morning 9-11.

The Market Is Open

We have limited offerings this week, both in terms of the number of offerings and the amount available. However, we’ve got some beautiful lettuce and arugula for a nice addition to sandwiches.

If you want something from the market this week, remember the window to order lasts from this morning until noon on Friday. I will be delivering at the Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market on Saturday, although I won’t be there until around 10:00 this week (for a very good reason – we are getting bees to set up a hive early Saturday morning!).

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for your business!

No mid-week market this week

Since it’s still early in the season, we won’t have anything available for the Wednesday market this week. However, we’re hoping to have a few things ready by the weekend. Look for an update Thursday morning!

Foothills Market is now open!

We are now accepting orders on the Foothills Market through noon on Friday, April 22. Once you’ve placed an order, you should receive an invoice from Square on Friday afternoon. You may pay online or in person when you pick up your order.

Orders will be available for pick-up at the Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market on the courthouse square from 9-11 on Saturday, April 23. Join us for the opening weekend of the market and the Spring Greening Festival!

If you are unable to pick up your order at the market, please call or text us at 479-264-0212 (Jeff) or 479-970-9980 (Greta). If we hear from you, we will be happy to make other arrangements. If we don’t hear from you and you don’t pick up your order by 11:00, we will put it in the items to be sold at the farmers’ market.

Thank you for choosing our farm’s produce!
