The Market is Open - April 22
Foothills Market is open for another week! All our vendors participated in the Spring Greening Festival yesterday, which was a good celebration of community and of early spring.
Because of the festival, inventory on the market is a little low on vegetables, but check back through the ordering window for additions as they’re available. And we still have plenty of meats available!
Shop from today until noon on Wednesday, click the “Place your order” button, and we’ll have your order ready for pickup Thursday between 4-6 p.m.

Reminder - The Market Closes at Noon TODAY
Don’t forget that Foothills Market is on a new schedule for spring and summer. The market will close today at noon. Pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Food for Thought garden house.
So put in an order, enjoy local fresh food, and come out on Saturday to see your growers at the Spring Greening Festival on the courthouse square!
New Market Schedule!
The end of this week (Saturday, April 21) marks the Spring Greening Festival and the beginning of the season for the Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market. As a result, we will be changing the schedule for the Foothills Market for the summer season to better accommodate both markets.
Beginning this week, we will open the market on Sunday afternoon, and it will remain open for shopping through noon on Wednesday. Pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Food for Thought garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.
Browse the market, fill your cart with local products, and click the “Submit your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup on Thursday.

Winter just won’t give up! That’s making it a real challenge to get vegetables in the ground and growing. We do have a few fresh items on Foothills Market this week, including a few green onions and some radishes to go with greens. Of course, we still have plenty of locally-raised eggs, beef, pork, and lamb, along with some sweet treats like peanut brittle and cookies.
Shop the market, fill your cart, and click the “Submit your order” button to order. We’ll have your items ready for pickup Friday afternoon between 4-6 at the Food for Thought Garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.

The Market is Open - April 2
It’s the nature of gardening in early spring – you get an early crop of something and then have to wait while the plants produce a second set to harvest. That’s happened to us on Foothills Market – after a couple of weeks with a variety of fresh greens and carrots, our available offerings of vegetables are reduced to mainly collard greens.
However, we still have a great variety of locally-grown and produced meats, ranging from standards like ground beef to fresh cuts of pork chops and steaks. We also have local lamb; if you’ve never tried lamb meatballs, this would be a good chance!
Shop the market, fill your cart, then click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup from 4-6 Friday afternoon at the Food for Thought garden.

Reminder - The Market Closes Early!
Foothills Market will close early this week because of the Easter holidays this weekend. The Market closes TODAY (Wednesday, March 28) at noon, so don’t forget to place a last-minute order for locally-produced items!
The Market is Open - March 26
Foothills Market is back online this week – although we will operate on a different schedule for the Easter holiday. For this week only, the market will close on Wednesday at noon and pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
Browse the market for your menu. The Food for Thought Garden has a variety of fresh greens this week, and Happy Horseshoe Farm has carrots and celery. The market also has several growers offering different types of meat that would be perfect for Easter, including ham, leg of lamb, and beef chuck roast. We also have fresh farm eggs for your Easter baking.
Browse the market, fill your cart, and place your order before noon on Wednesday. We’ll have your order ready for pickup between 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Food for Thought Garden in Clarksville.

No Market This Week
Foothills Market will be closed this week so our growers can enjoy a little R & R time on spring break before gardening season gets into full swing. We’ll be back next week!
The Market is Open - March 12
Foothills Market is open for another week of shopping for fresh, locally-grown meats and vegetables. We have a limited amount of fresh vegetables this week, but the Food for Thought Garden has fresh turnips greens. Pair those with a nice ham hock or ham steak from Sheepy Hollow Farm for a tasty supper!
Shop the market, fill your cart, and click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup Friday afternoon from 4-6 at the Food for Thought Garden in Clarksville.
Note: Because of spring break, we won’t open the market next week. So get those fresh meats, vegetables, and baked goods this week!
