The Market is Open - April 2

It’s the nature of gardening in early spring – you get an early crop of something and then have to wait while the plants produce a second set to harvest. That’s happened to us on Foothills Market – after a couple of weeks with a variety of fresh greens and carrots, our available offerings of vegetables are reduced to mainly collard greens.

However, we still have a great variety of locally-grown and produced meats, ranging from standards like ground beef to fresh cuts of pork chops and steaks. We also have local lamb; if you’ve never tried lamb meatballs, this would be a good chance!

Shop the market, fill your cart, then click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup from 4-6 Friday afternoon at the Food for Thought garden.

Reminder - The Market Closes Early!

Foothills Market will close early this week because of the Easter holidays this weekend. The Market closes TODAY (Wednesday, March 28) at noon, so don’t forget to place a last-minute order for locally-produced items!

The Market is Open - March 26

Foothills Market is back online this week – although we will operate on a different schedule for the Easter holiday. For this week only, the market will close on Wednesday at noon and pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m.

Browse the market for your menu. The Food for Thought Garden has a variety of fresh greens this week, and Happy Horseshoe Farm has carrots and celery. The market also has several growers offering different types of meat that would be perfect for Easter, including ham, leg of lamb, and beef chuck roast. We also have fresh farm eggs for your Easter baking.

Browse the market, fill your cart, and place your order before noon on Wednesday. We’ll have your order ready for pickup between 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Food for Thought Garden in Clarksville.

No Market This Week

Foothills Market will be closed this week so our growers can enjoy a little R & R time on spring break before gardening season gets into full swing. We’ll be back next week!

The Market is Open - March 12

Foothills Market is open for another week of shopping for fresh, locally-grown meats and vegetables. We have a limited amount of fresh vegetables this week, but the Food for Thought Garden has fresh turnips greens. Pair those with a nice ham hock or ham steak from Sheepy Hollow Farm for a tasty supper!

Shop the market, fill your cart, and click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup Friday afternoon from 4-6 at the Food for Thought Garden in Clarksville.

Note: Because of spring break, we won’t open the market next week. So get those fresh meats, vegetables, and baked goods this week!

The Market is Open - March 5

We’re starting to see more leafy greens offered on Foothills Market! For anyone who’s hungry for a fresh taste of spring, check out the listings on the market – but order fast because these will go quickly!

We also still have a good selection of meats, with everything from large roasts to ground meats.

Browse the market, fill your cart, and click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup Friday afternoon between 4-6 at the Food for Thought garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.

The Market is Open - February 26

After all the rain last week, it’s certainly nice to see the sun! Each sunny day brings spring a little nearer.

At Foothills Market, we’re ready with a little taste of spring. You’ll find tender green things like baby collards, spinach, and Butterhead lettuce. Happy Horseshoe Farm also has carrots grown in their aquaponics house. Quantities are limited on all these items, though, so shop early!

We still also have a great selection of locally-produced meats, as well as a variety of baked goods and sweet spreads.

Shop the market, fill your cart, and then click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pick-up on Friday afternoon between 4-6 at the Food for Thought Garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.
