Reminder - The Market Closes at 2:00

Foothills Market is open until 2:00 this afternoon. Place your orders and we’ll have them ready for pickup Thursday afternoon 4-6.

The Market is Open - May 6

Warmer temperatures and sunny days mean green things are growing! Foothills Market is starting to see more vegetable items added to the offerings on the market. This week we have cucumbers and radishes to go with the crispy Butterhead lettuce – you can make a nice salad to accompany the beef, pork, or lamb available.

Browse the market between now and 2 p.m. Wednesday. Fill your shopping cart, and click the “Place your order” button. We’ll put your order together and have it ready for pickup Thursday between 4-6 p.m. at the Food for Thought Garden at 815 N. Hillcrest.

(I’m still trying to get used to the new schedule, too!)

The Market is Open - April 22

Foothills Market is open for another week! All our vendors participated in the Spring Greening Festival yesterday, which was a good celebration of community and of early spring.

Because of the festival, inventory on the market is a little low on vegetables, but check back through the ordering window for additions as they’re available. And we still have plenty of meats available!

Shop from today until noon on Wednesday, click the “Place your order” button, and we’ll have your order ready for pickup Thursday between 4-6 p.m.

Reminder - The Market Closes at Noon TODAY

Don’t forget that Foothills Market is on a new schedule for spring and summer. The market will close today at noon. Pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Food for Thought garden house.

So put in an order, enjoy local fresh food, and come out on Saturday to see your growers at the Spring Greening Festival on the courthouse square!

New Market Schedule!

The end of this week (Saturday, April 21) marks the Spring Greening Festival and the beginning of the season for the Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market. As a result, we will be changing the schedule for the Foothills Market for the summer season to better accommodate both markets.

Beginning this week, we will open the market on Sunday afternoon, and it will remain open for shopping through noon on Wednesday. Pickup will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the Food for Thought garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.

Browse the market, fill your cart with local products, and click the “Submit your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup on Thursday.

Winter just won’t give up! That’s making it a real challenge to get vegetables in the ground and growing. We do have a few fresh items on Foothills Market this week, including a few green onions and some radishes to go with greens. Of course, we still have plenty of locally-raised eggs, beef, pork, and lamb, along with some sweet treats like peanut brittle and cookies.

Shop the market, fill your cart, and click the “Submit your order” button to order. We’ll have your items ready for pickup Friday afternoon between 4-6 at the Food for Thought Garden at 815 N. Hillcrest in Clarksville.
