The Market is Open, November 4

Foothills Market is open for business for the week. The number of vegetables available is starting to dwindle, although we still have several fresh options, including green and yellow beans, yellow squash and zucchini, and pac choi. Amounts are limited, though, so shop early!

We also want to welcome a new vendor to the market. Third Time’s A Charm offers craft items made from recycled or upcycled products. Look for the journals made from muffin boxes, with additional items coming to the market in the weeks ahead.

Shop the market between now and Wednesday evening at 5:00, make your selections, and click the “Place your order” button. We’ll have your order ready for pickup on Thursday. Note the pickup time has changed to be from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Eat something fresh this week! And pick up stocking stuffers for Christmas!

Market Reminder

I hope you’re having a good Wednesday, wet though it may be! Remember Foothills Market is open until 5:00 p.m. today if you want to get your fresh, local items.

Place your order, and we’ll see you tomorrow from 4:30-5:30 at the Food for Thought Garden. Stay dry!

The Market Is Open!

Yesterday was the last day of the season for the Johnson County Community Farmers’ Market on the courthouse square, complete with a dedication of the art alley to Sue Kinsey, who was instrumental in starting the market. But even though there won’t be a market downtown again until April, you don’t have to do without fresh produce and locally produced meats and other goodies. Foothills Market is open to get you through the off-season!

Browse the market between now and Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Make your list of items, click the “place your order” button, and it’s that easy. Your order will be ready for pickup at the Food for Thought Garden Thursday afternoon.

We are changing the pickup times to better match the times when most people actually come to get their orders. Pickup will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday; if this is a problem for you, contact us and we’ll try to work something out.

Eat something fresh this week!

It's Pick-up Time!

Your order is available for pickup at the Food for Thought Garden until 5:30 p.m.

Market Reminder

The Foothills Market is open until 5:00 this afternoon. We still have plenty of green beans and green cabbage available, as well as locally-grown meats.

The Market Is Open!

I heard reports of frost on rooftops around the area this morning. You know what that means – soon there will be frost on the ground and the growing season will be winding down. But not just yet! Foothills Market is open with a selection of fresh produce and local meats as well as home-baked goods and candies.

Browse the market between now and 5 p.m. Wednesday, and select the items and the amount you’d like to have. Click the “Place your order” button, and we’ll put your order together for pickup on Thursday afternoon between 4-5:30.

Foothills Market is Offline This Week

Since the University of the Ozarks (the home of the Food for Thought garden) is on fall break during our regular pick-up time, Foothills Market is also taking a break this week. We’ll be back next week, though!

Market Reminder

Just a reminder – the Foothills Market will close this evening at 5:00. If you want to place an order, do it today, and we’ll have your items ready for pickup tomorrow!

Foothills Market is Opening This Week!

It may still feel like summer, but the calendar says October, and that means it’s time for Foothills Market to start again.

The market will be open from now until 5:00 Wednesday afternoon. Browse the available products, place what you want in your cart, and we will have your order ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon from 4-5:30 p.m. Notice that our pickup time has changed this year.

You can pay for your order with cash or a check. You can also place money in an account on the market and draw from it as you shop over time.

We’re excited for the new season, and we hope to see you this fall! Eat something fresh this week!

The Market is Going on Summer Hiatus

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve noticed a substantial downturn in traffic for Foothills Market. We’re guessing that’s because the in-person market on the courthouse square is going again.

As a result, we’ve decided to put Foothills Market on vacation mode for the summer. We’ll reopen in the fall once the Clarksville/Johnson County Farmers’ Market begins to wind down for the season.

Our growers will all still have products available at the downtown market, so come see us in person to get your fresh, locally-grown produce and meats.

See you next fall!
